Sally Weiss, special projects coordinator of the United Cerebral Palsy Association, testified at the Commissions ADA hearing about the associations efforts of job placement for people with disabilities.

She stated the United Cerebral Palsy Association has been very successful in placing people with multiple and severe disabilities in jobs in approximately 40 cities nationwide, where the jobs were restructured or other types of accommodations were made.

In 2015, the USDA permitted states to expand the list of recognized medical authorities to improve access to meal accommodations for children with special dietary needs and alleviate administrative burden for the CNPs.
