An adult with care and support needs may be: This is not an exhaustive list.

Published: March 2015 This guidance is for frontline practitioners and managers who work with adults who have care and support needs and who may be at risk of abuse or neglect.

It is relevant to people in health, housing, the police, as well as in social care – both statutory social workers, and staff in the regulated and non-regulated provider sectors.

Many of our graduates take their first posts as qualified practitioners in the NHS Trusts and hospitals in which they gained experience during their training.

Throughout the course you will have the opportunity to work with qualified practitioners both to gain experience of the differing clinical environments, and to appreciate the expertise of these specialist nurses whilst on placement.
